This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Another semester over, more free time on my hands means I actually start processing all those pictures I worked on so long ago. More coming, these were just the ones that I even had scanned right now.
*** Thought you might like to see the response I got from the RIDICULOUS scholarship committee....
Dear Christa Curtin,
Thank you for your inquiry.
We at Fine Art Finals do not mean to disrespect photography as an art form. We began our first scholarship competition, the Fine Art Finals Midwest Scholarship Competition in Fall of 2007, without traditional photography and decided to continue the first round of regional scholarship competitions with the same rules. From the feedback we have received, we have decided to add traditional photography in the next round of regional scholarship competitions beginning with the 2nd annual Fine Art Finals Midwest Scholarship Competition this Fall 2008. We plan to continue through with the addition of traditional photography with the next Fine Art Finals West/Southwest Scholarship Competition in Spring 2009, and other regions.
Though photography as the main media is not accepted at this time, we do consider manipulation of the photograph in programs such as Photoshop, etc, where the image is significantly changed from its original state through the use of digital painting and rendering. We also will accept digital or traditional collage or mixed media which may utilize photographs in the artwork but the photograph itself not be the actual work of art.
As our Scholarship Competitions grow, we look forward to including photography.
Once they amend it, I'm going to write a letter damning their decision to include the aberration of photography into their fine arts scholarship. I mean, you point a box at something and touch a button. What sort of art is that?
Or I'll campaign for the inclusion of folk arts. Knitters of the world unite!
Yeah, And I really dont like when models look like they are uncomfortable with where they are and what they are doing... it just makes the photo look so...... predicted?
Well, If youde like to use me Im totally willing, if not thats cool too.
Lemme know and gooood luck..
